Young Poppi releases new album UNDERRATED

NEWARK, NJ - Young Poppi, the grandson of Funk Icon George Clinton, is ready to go with his sophomore album UNDERRATED. A rapper with a familial history in Funk, he has grown up in music and is excited to share where that has led him. This project showcases both the energy that he brings to his work and the growth that he has experienced since his debut release.
To start of the release of his sophomore album, Young Poppi began with his single “Sett It Off”. This track, which focuses on the community that he has grown up around and the people that have helped support him on his journey. “It’s about being around the realest of people,” he explained. “The people that are always there for you, always a call away.”
“Sett It Off” is a great presentation of Young Poppi’s personal history and creative skill. “My community has been a really big part of my creative upbringing,” he said. The song is an incredible introduction to his new album UNDERRATED.
As an album, UNDERRATED has an exciting introductory feel to it.
