HIP HOP RECORDING ARTIST 'YUNG FAUCET' TALKS NEW MIX TAPE "JUGG & DRIP" AND MORE!
Yung Faucet shows off high octane drippy style on new mixtape ‘Jugg & Drip’
YUNG FAUCET (13:30)
HARRISBURG, PA – Everything about Pennsylvania artist Yung Faucet is drippy – from the way he puts his outfits together to the way he flows on beats with fly melodies and clever wordplay. That signature style is put on full display with his new mixtape “Jugg & Drip” which is currently available across all streaming platforms. It’s the second mixtape from this fast-rising young talent and already the buzz around this project is gaining him a lot of attention along the East Coast.
“It’s a mixtape about hustling and getting fly,” Yung Faucet said. ‘It’s about my lifestyle and what I live for. It’s about making ends meet with fly talk. It’s real drippy with melodic flows and nice bars, and the quality is crazy. The versatility on this project is ridiculous and I think it explains me to a T and really shows the world who Faucet is.”
More than anything else, Yung Faucet is best known for his energy. When it comes to his music, his delivery is so hype that people can’t help but jump up on their feet and respond to his
passion. But that’s a characteristic that’s true of every walk of his life. Yung Faucet doesn’t know how to live a quiet life, and his infectious energy is such that almost anyone who meets him is inspired and motivated. He puts a smile on people’s faces and leaves them wanting to chase their own dreams with the same kind of passion that he displays.
“I’ve got genuine energy,” he said. “It’s no gimmick. When you talk to me and I’m hype, that’s me the whole way through. And you can catch that on every track. You’re gonna listen to me and say, ‘I love this guy! He’s so cool!’”
Yung Faucet first got his start in music while in high school. His personality was such that he was voted Mr. Popularity by his senior class and was given the “Most Likely To Succeed” award. The summer after graduation, he began to really dive into music, developing his sound and style to create something truly original. That hard work paid off as the first mixtape he released gained major attention and helped him put his name on the map. Now following that up with a second mixtape, Yung Faucet said he hopes to become a household name over the course of the next year.
“I want my music to be known for being me,” he said. “This is really me. I’m telling you about all the good times and the bad times in energetic ways that will plug into people’s heads. I want people to remember me for my versatility. I’ve got nine different voices I can use, but it still sound like me. And mostly, I want to be known for my energy. That’s the best word to describe me. I am Mr. Energy. I’ve been fly my whole life and I’d like to be known for that before anything else.”

INDIE / R&B RECORDING ARTIST 'VANALIKA SHAN' TALKS NEW SINGLE "MIDNIGHT" AND MORE!
18-year-old Vanalika brightens the world with her new single ‘Midnight’
VANALIKA SHAN (35:31)
DALLAS, TX – Indie pop singer/songwriter and pianist Vanalika Shan’s open-hearted sound is the result of years immersing herself in diverse cultures around the globe. At only 18 years old, the Indian-born artist has studied music in the U.S., Australia, and India, drawing freely from American Pop, Indian Classical, and musical theater to create an irresistible sound all her own. That original sound is put on full display on her new single, “Midnight” which is slated to go wide across all streaming platforms on Oct. 16. The laid-back vibe of the song takes full advantage of a robust array of Synth sounds for a contemporary twist on Indie Pop.
The slow organs open the song and create a mellow, ambient vibe that sets the stage for Vanalika’s ethereal vocals. As her voice begins to sour, she welcomes listeners into a nice groove that’ll have them bopping their heads while smiling and reminiscing about that someone special. “The idea of it came from a kind of Cinderella theme,” Vanalika said. “It goes around the concept of time being limited. Time is a driving force in any relationship – romantic or friendship or whatever. So I wanted to play on that idea with the nuances from a Cinderella fairytale.”
The debut single from this fast-rising star is a follow-up to her wildly successful cover mashup “Blinding Lights and Physical” which is currently available across all streaming platforms. Fully embracing the Synth Pop sound, the song takes two chart-topping retro tunes and mashes them into something that’s equal parts throwback and modern, and perfect to showcase this talented musician’s naturally ethereal vocals. Having just graduated from high school, Vanalika said she’s taking advantage of a gap year to pursue music as a career. Though she started as a singer when she was only 4 years old and has performed in multiple places over the years, it hasn’t been until recently that she started fully dedicating herself to a career in music.
While growing up, her father traveled to places all over the world, often moving his family along the way. As such, Vanalika said she’s gotten a very global education about people and cultures and the ways in which art can tie people together. “Traveling has been a big part of my life, from meeting new people to seeing different locations,” she said. “Music ties the bridges in between. I’ve experienced different kinds of music, but at the end of the day, it’s still my kind of music that I’m creating.
The way I like to approach my music is to take my own story and add a little twist. Music isn’t about just adding a little bit of an edge or technicality to something, but more of a driving force. I want to move an audience through the music as if they’re part of the story. That’s one of my favorite attributes of music – not just listening to a song but how the combination of sound and lyrics can drive an audience together. At the end of the day, I hope my music makes people feel good when they listen to it. Vanalika means sunflower, and I try to embody that in myself and my music.
A sunflower is bright and calming, and that’s the effect I want to bring to the world with my music. I want to brighten the world with my music, one sunflower at a time.”

HIP HOP RECORDING ARTIST "YOUNG GLI$T" TALKS NEW SINGLE 'KIYOMI' AND MORE!
A song of pure beauty, Yung Gli$t releases latest single ‘Kiyomi’
YUNG GLI$T (22:25)
COLUMBUS, OH - An up and coming artist with the goal to inspire those around him, Yung Gli$t is bringing his music to the people with a sound that is truly his own. His latest single, “Kiyomi,” is only one of his many steps to becoming a top name in the Hip Hop industry.
Music came naturally to Yung Gli$t, growing up in a household that was always full of new sound. “I used to just like music when I was growing up. It came naturally. My mom would always be playing music usually artists like Nas. And as I got used to hearing music like that, music started to become a bigger and bigger part of my life.”
Much of Yung Gli$t’s influences come from artists like Tupac, but he also pulls a lot of inspiration from his family. “My father passed away when I was younger and I draw a lot of inspiration from him because he made music before I was born.”
Yung Gli$t’s sound is a unique blend of Hip Hop. “I would say my sound is a little bit futuristic. My music sounds like the kind of thing where you can't just go out and replicate it. I don’t think
anyone is doing the exact same thing as me. You have to listen to my music to get that certain sound because I have a different kind of delivery of my lyrics. I have a unique sound.”
“Kiyomi,” Yung Gli$t’s latest single is quite literally named after pure beauty. “When I started this song, I knew it was going to be important. The reason I named it “Kiyomi” is that Kiyomi actually means “Pure Beauty” and I named it that because it was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the beat for the first time. One of the inspirations for the lyrics of this song was actually my baby’s mother. We had a little bit of a problem and we were in the middle of a scramble before I started working on the lyrics. I think that played into what came out of that session a bit.”
“My main goal as a musician is to get good music out there. I want to work on getting more of a following and expand my social media, especially Twitter. I really just want to be someone who inspires others. I want to show them that they can do it.” Yung Gli$t grew up in an area where there is an abundance of creativity, but not enough love for other’s art. He hopes in great part to inspire the people of Columbus to see that there is room for everyone to do what they love.
Along with his ventures as a musician, Yung Gli$t is focused on fashion. He hopes to help inspire more people to express themselves through their appearance.
Yung Gli$t is working to put out more music in the coming year, including an album that is currently in the works. As of right now, the music video for “Kiyomi” will be coming out soon and will be an exciting thing to look forward to.

ACTOR, MUSICAL RECORDING ARTIST DIVINE DAVON TALKS NEW SINGLE "DESTINY" AND MORE.
Activist, artist and a man of faith, Divine Davon releases his latest single ‘Destiny’
DEVINE DAVON (15:38)
LOS ANGELES, CA - Davon McFarlane Brown has had adventures and experiences in all walks of life, growing up in Jamaica, Queens, New York, making his way in the world as a basketball player, a model, a champion of rights for the homeless people of Los Angeles and most recently, a musician. During his time in Africa, Brown put together and recorded the song “Destiny” with his friend and fellow musician Mr. Veggatan.
Brown relates his path with music as being a spiritual connection, allowing him to be closer to and spread the word of God. “Music was my pathway to the Lord. I know the angels rejoice in heaven by singing and playing instruments, David played the harp to feel peace and seek light. Honestly, living in a tent every day is purification of my crazy emotions. After seemingly having everything in Africa and doing a Heineken Commercial where I received 150K in African currency, and coming back to the US to find that I only really get about $300 after taxes and everything, it really changed my perspective.”
Growing up in Jamaica, Queens, Brown’s life has always been heavily influenced by Reggae and Hip Hop music. These influences have allowed him to create his own sound while sticking closely to his own roots. “You know, Hip Hop was born in New York and I have blood from Portland, Jamaica flowing through my veins. That allowed me to create a rhythm, a divine vitality that flows through the music. It is like a prayer to me.”
Brown’s latest single, “Destiny,” came together while he was living in Cape Town, South Africa. “I was told by my agent not to go to the ghettos so I wouldn’t be robbed since I wasn't a local. But my spirit led me to go there because I come from Jamaica, Queens, New York and that's where the inner city concentration camps are. I wanted to go see people and when I went through these neighborhoods, I saw that there was so much life there. They didn't have any cell phones and didn't have any money but there was so much life. And when I was back home, I was in the shower just humming and then the chorus just came to me, ‘I gotta find my destiny I gotta find my divinity.’” Brown immediately called up his friend Mr. Veggatan and they got to work on creating the track.
Brown speaks greatly towards the power of God and the work that they can do to empower and support those who put their support in as well. “You can find the Spirit of God within you. That is stressing you and the time that it seems impossible to even break. Like sometimes I wake up not being able to breathe, I turn on some Michael Jackson and that is where I feel God. I want to be like that -- to have songs that teach you that it is okay to feel emotions and to cry sometimes.”
A hard working activist and supporter as well as member of the homeless population of Los Angeles, Brown is constantly fighting for the help of the government and the people to support those who are in need at the time of a global pandemic. He has been the head of a project to seize a luxury hotel suite at the Ritz Carlton in protest of the mistreatment of the homeless population, while empty space such as these hotel rooms, sit vacant and available. He continues to fight this injustice through his music and his actions.

HIP HOP ARTISTS Adonis Alias SoupBone and M.E. NotApologetic Talk New album 'ApoSTGles" and MORE
Two West Coast artists join forces for creative new album ‘ApoSTGles’
LISTEN TO THE PODCAST BELOW!
Adonis Alias SoupBone and M.E. NotApologetic (22:08)
“It’s two brothers coming together and showcasing our skills together,” Adonis said. “It’s us complementing each other’s talents and ideas. We’re talking about positives, not using any profanity and ultimately, it’s all about the music.”
The debut single from the project is “Sir Paul” and is slated to release across all streaming platforms on Oct. 16. It’s a song that pays tribute to one of the most influential musicians of all time: Paul McCartney. “Sir Paul” is presented with an eye-popping video filmed by acclaimed and award-winning director Jae Synth. Throughout the song, Adonis and M.E. incorporate lyrics and titles from McCartney’s most successful songs and albums, and ultimately use the icon as a metaphor for achieving one’s dreams.
“If there’s any chance Paul could hear this, I think he’d appreciate it more than anybody,” Adonis said. “There’s no other musician who has transcended the time period he has with quality music. That’s the key. I try to write timeless material, just like he did, and I don’t try to go with the current trend.”
The beat originally came to M.E. through a mutual acquaintance producer named No Shenanigans, who said she wrote the beat specifically for M.E.’s signature style. It’s a beat that M.E. calls a little bit gritty and hard-hitting. But when M.E. couldn’t come up with a lyrical idea that really stuck, he passed it along to his friend Adonis for help.
“I passed it along to my bro and he came up with this idea,” M.E. said. “That’s how we always work. We come up with creative ideas and then pass them back and forth to each other until we make something great. With this song, not only are we doing an homage for Paul, but at the same time it shows that you don’t have to stay the same musician throughout your entire career. He stepped away from the Beatles and did what he wanted to do, and he’s made a lot of great music.”
“Sir Paul” will be followed by “My Queen”, the scheduled second single slated to drop in November. With “My Queen,” the two musicians tap into their R&B side with a song made for the ladies. Adonis said it’s an “encouragement song that’s uplifting for women and encourages men to support their women.” A music video is in the works and should release on Nov. 10. "Party All Night" is the third release and it is a definitive club song with a hard, heavy, Hip Hop and Rap feel that showcases the duo’s ability to flow.
