BRENDAN UPDATE! WE FINALLY HEARD FROM HIM!

Brendan update! I can't share everything that he told me, but I can say that he and the entire 2/7 Weapons Company are doing great, and all are safe and sound. Brendan is back on base for a few days R&R , a hot shower, and some good chow, and SLEEP. I am THRILLED that I got to talk to him! Thanks for all of your prayers and support for Brendan.

PORN ADDICTION AND IT'S TERRIBLE IMPACT ON RELATIONSHIPS

I remember when I was a kid I used to have a stack of Playboy magazines hidden in my tree fort. Most teens have that phase growing up. Being addicted to porn is another monster. I know people that are consumed with pornography. I read a great article over at CNN that breaks down the terrible impact that porn addiction has on marriages, and relationships. SUNDAY MORNING THOUGHTS

Good Sunday morning. The journey that I started roughly 6 months ago has been a long and hard one. I'm still not where I want to get, but I am getting closer. I have lost over 50 pounds and made a career change in 2012 that I am extremely happy with. Life is what you make it. I've removed a few toxic people from my life, and have been blessed with meeting some new people, good healthy minded people.

There are some people in life that simply can't help but to inject negativity into others. They get their kicks out of it. The only way to deal with these types of people is to simply ignore them and keep moving forward. You can't make, or force people to act right. Some are beyond reason, and putting it frankly, they are just too stupid to change their ways.

I'm about to launch a new website. This is a project that I am really excited about. I will keep 8CountNews.com up and running, and will continue to bring you Podcast interviews with fighters, and boxingnews, but I will be focusing the majority of my time in a different direction. I'll be conducting Podcast interviews with some very interesting people of many genres. I'll be speaking with NASA personnel, REAL Big Foot researches, REAL Ghost Hunters, Severe weather experts, actors, musicians, clergy, atheists, you name it. I'm very excited to get this up and running, and I'm perhaps a month or so away from launching it. Stay tuned, I have some BIG things on the way!

WEIGHT LOSS PROGRESS - IF I CAN DO IT YOU CAN DO IT

I've been working hard over the last 6 months on losing weight and getting in shape. I've spent countless hours in my home gym, and more recently at "Anytime Fitness" in Brandon, MS. I owe a debt of gratitude to Justine Fortune for his tips, advice, nutrition plans, and support. So far I have lost over 50 pounds. I haven't felt this good in a long time. I decided to do something about my weight 6 months ago because of a few reasons. My blood sugar got to dangerous levels. My girls, Bebe and Lanvy mean so much to me, I want to live to watch them grow up. I love them both so much, and I want to be around a long time for them. Good health is so important. I let myself go over the years. My journey is not over. I have a ways to go still, but so far so good. Hard work pays off.
