Good day to you Mr. Brad Cooney. My name is Vincent Laure of Manila. I’m an avid reader of most of articles being posted with Pacland for Manny Pacquiao daily news updates, blogs and other writings, especially those updates written by you. Forum Administrator of Pacland won’t activate my membership for reasons I don’t know, so I’m here now wondering if I could get help from you in conveying this “idea” to Manny himself. I would really appreciate it if you do, really. Just got this “idea” after reading an article written under Digital Journal dated December 15, 2009, which partly read;
Opinion: Pacquiao's fight against Mayweather could be his last
By Leo Reyes.
“Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is celebrating his 31st birthday tomorrow, December 17. The popular Filipino boxer says his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. could be his last.
Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquaio deserves a special birthday greetings on his 31st birthday tomorrow December 17, 2009........
Manny says his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. - tentatively set for March 13 - next year could be his last as a professional boxer. He seems to heed his mother’s appeal for him to step down from the ring as she could no longer take the punishment that the pound-for-pound king gets from the more superior fighters whenever he climbs the ring.".....

Now since it’s being said that March 13, 2010 probably be Manny Pacquiao’s final ring appearance, why not invite all Pacman’s 51 past opponents (from his very first foe Edmund Enting Ignacio to Miguel Angel Cotto, his last ring foe) to witness him live for his ring date against the dreamer Floyd Mayweather in March 13, be it in Nevada or Texas. Send them invitations for ringside seats, with hotel accommodation and transportation privileges from Team Pacquiao and promoter Bob Arum. I’m sure Mr. Pacquiao won’t find it too expensive to have his brave previous ring adversaries as guest for this another historical and final conquest atop the squared circle. Team Pacquiao can have “sponsors” (Chavit Singson, Lito Atienza, GMA Networks, Nike, SMB, CafĂ© Puro, etc..) to shoulder all the costs (or they can even charge it to Jake Joson‘s representation….Joke). Just imagine how good it would look to boxing itself that for the first time in boxing history, previous foes of a P4P ruler gathered all together in ringside to be acknowledged in witnessing his grandest fight in boxing history. Just an idea……...

Please, don’t make me do the draft of the proposal and details of invitation, I don’t know how. Thanks again Mr. Cooney and more power to you….. Keep on writing for us.
