An evening with Deuce McAllister and some Mississippi orphan kids

Each Christmas season I am honored to be a part of former New Orleans Saints (RB) Deuce McAllister's Catch 22 foundation. Deuce comes to town and goes shopping with the kids. The Catch 22 foundation is for orphan kids who are in need of a lift up in life. A great foundation that gives back.

MY ANUAL GET TOGETHER WITH DEUCE MCALLISTER

Every Christmas season, former New Orleans Saints RB Deuce McAllister and I hook up for his Catch 22 foundation. A foundation that houses orphan children in the Jackson, Mississippi area. Deuce comes to one of the local Wal-Mart's in town and gives his time and money to the kids to go Christmas shopping with. I look forward to this event every year, it's very rewarding. I'll have pictures tomorrow.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao likely, but not done.

One big obstacle still remains. Something called a contract! Arum is currently on the way back to the states after what appears to be a succesful trip to the Philippines. Arum met with Manny Pacquiao, and although nothing has been officialy announced, it appears as if Manny has agreed to terms. Mayweather still hasn't signed anyting, and until that happens, everyone needs to take a breath, and wait and see.

ADAMEK VS ESTRADA IS A DONE DEAL

I have just learned that the proposed fight between former IBF Cruiserweight world champion Tomasz Adamek and former US Olympian Jason Estrada is a done deal. This fight will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on February 6th. Check out www.8countnews.com for more on this. COMING SOON: MY NEW BOOK - MY ROAD TO PACQUIAO

I have been working on my next book, "My road to Pacquiao" to be released in 2010. The book is about my travels in boxing and how I have developed my friendship with Freddie Roach, and Team Pacquiao. The book will detail my journey from the boxing websites, to the people that run some of them, and ultimately my decision to start my own. The book then moves on and tells my story, how I went from writing for websites to owning one, and becoming friends with The Wild Card family. I will update you all as I get closer to wrapping it up, and publishing the book.
