I received a phone call from famed fight trainer Freddie Roach early this morning. Roach informed me that he had fired Michael Moorer. When I was in Los Angeles covering Manny Pacquiao's camp in March, I personally witnessed the chemistry issue that Moorer brought to the Wild Card Gym. The staff at the gym, names I won't mention here, were fed up with the guy. To be it mildly, Michael Moorer treated me less than professionaly for the entire week that I was out there. I went out of my way to be nice to the guy, and in return was.... well, I'll just leave it there, I think you guys get the point.
So no big surprise to me that Roach let the guy go. Roach informed me this morning that the primary reason for Moorer's termination from employment was the personality conflict that he had with both Manny Pacquiao, and Amir Khan. Then you mix in the problems that Moorer created amongst the staff, and the guests, and bingo, out the door you go. It was just a matter of time.

Do you think George Foreman would be interestedin the job? He beat the snot out of Moorrer and I think it would be great if he stole his job and sent him a grill. That would be very funny
