It's been a crazy few weeks in the world of entertainment. Ed McMahon, long time Carson sidekick passed away, and then the stunningly beautiful Farrah Fawcett loses her battle with cancer. They say all things come in 3's, and boy did it ever this time. The King of Pop, Michael Jackson dies of an apparent heart attack! wow...
The international scene is becoming more and more dangerous as each days passes. North Korea is still stomping their feet like a 3 year old does when they don't get the attention that they want. Iran is mowing down its own people in the streets of Tehran. Isn't that nice? So that is how Islam, and Muslim's treat their people?
National scene - President Obama's approval ratings are slipping, the honeymoon is over with. I stand by our president in most cases, but I think he has spent too much, and it will come back to grab us in 10 years or so. Gov Sanford of South Carolina jumps on a plane, using tax payers money, and hooks up with his mistress. Great, just great, and the wifey had no clue. At least the guy seemed genuine with his apology at his press conference. But with that said, I don't want to hear anymore crap from Republicans telling me that they are the party of morals.
Boxing - Victor Ortiz toted an ass whoopin! Maidana got up off of the floor 3 times and commenced an ass whoopin all over the Golden Boy prospect, Ortiz.

My next trip will be to Biloxi, Mississippi for the Roy Jones Jr vs Jeff Lacy fight. I will be heading to Connecticut for vacation in August as well, and look forward to spending time with my family.
