
The senator from Chicago, Barak Obama will be the first African American in U.S. history to represent a major party for the race for the presidency of The United States. Obama was the recipient all day of a steady flow of super delagates, and to put some icing on the cake, former president Jimmy Carter stamped his approval as well. Obama will face the Arizona senator, and former war hero, John McCain in November for the presidency. The buzz of the day was a comment from New York senator, Hillary Clinton, who in speaking at a conference call to a group of New York attorneys said that she would be open for the Vice President position.
