DALLAS, TX – Dutch from Dallas is an artist who loves to get people hyped. He has sounds and styles made for all types of people all around the world – upbeat and happy music, or vibes for those who are in the dumps and feeling down. By talking about his own lows in life he helps to inspire others, and his diverse musical offerings take people in whatever mood they might find themselves in and move them into a more positive frame of mind.

That diversity is put on full display with his latest EP, “Feel Something,” which is currently available across all streaming platforms. Across six songs, Dutch gives and abstract offering of rap without any big ego.

“It’s just good music,” he said. “I’m showing people what I can do with music and where I’m coming from. People can listen to this project and get a feel of where I’m coming from. I’m a guy who is just doing what I want to do. And whatever mood people might be in or relatable experience, I want to have a song for it.”

The debut single from the project is a song called “Clarity.” A music video for the single was recently released, and like the song is also abstract and psychedelic. It’s a hype song that Dutch said serves as a type of anthem for anyone in the world who needs to give themselves a break and accept forgiveness.

“It’s about freeing myself and forgiving myself and realizing some things about myself and being willing to make changes,” he said. “The video is very abstract and shot here in Dallas. I wanted to bring the city life of Dallas to the forefront. I feel like we have a nice downtown setting, so there are a lot of shots of downtown and of me roaming the streets and subways, rapping and dancing and just being free.”

Dutch said he first started his journey as a full-time musician when he was younger. He first played the drums, and as he got older he and his brother started a garage band with one of their neighbors. They covered early 2000s punk rock bands, and over time his curiosity with music evolved into learning about rap and wanting to learn how to write and rhyme. He began to study artists like Future and Kid Cudi and Pharrell because he loved how bold they came on the track. He dived head-first into perfecting his craft, and over time developed a signature sound and style that is undeniably unique.

“I think what makes me stand out is that I’m able to pop through different genres and I’m diverse with melodies and instrumentals,” he said. “I feel like I can do it all with any type of beat. I write about my highs and lows and the love I have for the sound and rhythm of beats. I think I’ll continue with this music for as long as I can because it helps me deal with highs and lows of my life.”

SINGER / SONGWRITER / R&B RECORDING ARTIST BRIAN MCKNIGHT JR. TALKS NEW SINGLE 'SPRUNG' AND MORE CURRENT PROJECTS!

Brian McKnight Jr. bring Prince Charming back to music with new R&B-centered Pop song ‘Sprung’

LOS ANGELES, CA – Brian McKnigt Jr. is a well-known name in the music industry. Best recognized as legendary R&B and Soul artist Brian McKnight’s son, Brian Jr. has left his own indelible mark in music with hit singles and roles in films over the past decade-and-a-half. He’s had a lot of ups-and-downs in his life, but through it all he has maintained an inner drive to spread love and joy to the world through his artistic expression.

His latest single “Sprung” is another R&B-centered Pop track that continues that mission of inspiring others to love. It’s an R&B song with some bounce to it, inviting listeners to bop their heads while enjoying the sultry sounds of this amazing vocalist. Inspired by his girlfriend Adina, the song is about falling in love and recognizing how lucky you are when you find the perfect person for you.

“My brother (and producer) Duke was sending me beats and rhythms for this new project, and I was getting them right as I met the girl I’m with now,” Brian Jr. said. “All of the songs on this new album will be around the theme of falling in love, and this particular song is inspired by her. Once I met her, that was it. And because of her the whole theme of the album is going to be warm and happy and giving people something to dance to again and fall in love to. I want to bring Prince Charming back into the business. I would love for everyone to be butt naked by the third song.”

Though the album isn’t slated to be released until late summer, this first single is available across all streaming platforms. It not only sets up audiences for what’s to come, but also showcases the unique vulnerability Brian Jr. brings to the table. As a veteran of the game who also brings an education of the industry most other artists could only dream of, Brian Jr. has mastered the art of mixing genres and creating unique sounds and styles that help him to stand head and shoulders above other R&B and Pop artists out there. Add to that the voice, which has been undeniable from the beginning, and Brian Jr. is destined to leave as big of a mark – if not greater – than his father.

“Not too many artists get an in-depth look at the industry like I have,” he said. “This is literally what I was born into, and this project will showcase every single thing I can do. It’s packaged in a Pop way so that everyone in the household can listen to it. I think after this year everyone will finally realize I was born for this. It’s what I believe in my heart and soul that I was put here to do. I want people to feel something and take whatever they want from it. If the music can be as healing for the people who listen to it as it is for me to make it, then I’ve accomplished my goal.”

A music video for “Sprung” is also available for fans to enjoy, and Brian Jr. said he may release another single during the early part of the summer before launching the full album in late August or early September.

MUSIC RECORDING ARTIST 'Chlz" STOPS BY AND TALKS ABOUT HER SELF TITLED EP AND MORE!

TORONTO, CANADA – It’s not often that a classically trained, triple-threat performer like Toronto’s Chlz enters the scene with all of the elements needed to create a musical hit. But now that she has it’s time to sit up and pay attention.

Originally from British Columbia, Chlz marries classic R&B, Jazz and Soul vibes with her signature cosmic and sultry lo-fi sounds. She cleverly does this in a way that makes you feel like you’re in a deep, claw-foot-tub with a glass of wine and feeling good about life.

Chlz will “take you to church” and then some, with lyrics and catchy hooks that are sure to pioneer a new sub-genre for a new era of music. Her deep connection to natural mysticism drives her music to empower and shine a light on the divine feminine within each of her listeners. She does this while also exploring and navigating the real-world ebb and flow of every-changing relationships. These elements came together while Chlz took advantage of the focused time she had during the COVID quarantine of 2020. The end result is her self-titled EP, which she is excited to share with the world.

“I was fortunate enough to find a space in which to create,” Chlz said. “The EP was born from a time of isolation while navigating various relationships, which were all forced into social-distancing statuses. It’s the kind of territory that no relationship of our time has ever faced. Everything is new, uncharted and difficult. Some of the songs on this EP deal with heartaches and heartbreaks, while adjusting to the changing times. It’s a modern and musical unrequited love sort of thing.”

Circumstantially, things are different and the pandemic has magnified our attachments, Chlz said. However, a listen through the EP reveals that the whole project is ultimately about a journey back to oneself – making “Simple” one of the most important songs on the project.

“While sitting in isolation, we can replay the relationships we had with people – how we sometimes over-complicate things and what it’s like to now be without them,” Chlz said. “It also forces you to realize that at the end of the day all you have is you.”

For many listeners, “Simple” is one of the catchiest songs on the EP. It acts as a sort of personal mantra that plays over and over again in the listener’s head, even long after the song has ended.

“It’s a musical reflection on how we tend to overcomplicate things in our mind’s eye,” she said. “Sometimes insecurities and traumas can create barriers that keep people from moving forward as their authentic selves, and instead we repeat negative messages to ourselves … which hold us back. It’s easier to deflect and look outward to others and judge their efforts while just sitting there and doing nothing. This project helped me to solidify my understanding that if something is going against the grain, or if you’re trying to force something to flow that’s not right for you, it will magnify chaos to show you that you are not in alignment with something you need to let go of. I was reflecting on how we hesitate to let things go, even when it hurts us. We hide behind beautiful lies because they create a façade of safety to avoid facing ugly truths. So, we overcomplicate things to delay that pain, and only make things worse.

“Simple” is fun, catchy and deep, but not preachy. Chlz has managed to create a song that is relevant for the current times because it was inspired by true personal reflection.

“As much as it’s a message for my listeners, when I wrote it there was a reminder to myself – as someone who has a busy mind – to just keep things simple,” she said. “I didn’t want all of my songs to be about romantic relationships. ‘Simple’ is a song about the relationship within myself.”

The full EP will drop wide across all streaming platforms on April 30. Fans can also check out all of Chlz’s previously released singles on all streaming platforms. Chlz said she hopes people will appreciate the amount of work that went into creating such a high-quality “mystical, ethereal, lo-fi” yet soulful sound.

“I’m very passionate about creating a sacred space where my fans feel comfortable enough to let their guards down,” she said. “I want to create that feeling of being in a bathtub drinking wine and just being relaxed.”

HIP HOP ARTIST "BABA T" TALKS NEW EP 'KNOW ME' AND NEW SINGLE "BLUE CHEESE" PLUS MORE CURRENT PROJECTS

Australian sensation Baba T sends a Hip Hop wave of new sounds across the ocean to U.S. market

BABA T (33:17)

Download the MP3

SYNDEY, AUSTRALIA – Baba T is a hot new Australian hip-hop artist whose latest music is helping him break into the U.S. market and to gather a truly international audience. With a style that sits somewhere between Juice Wrld and A$AP Rocky, with. A little bit of New York Drill thrown in, this young new artist is carving out a niche with sounds and a signature style that are undeniable. His latest EP “Know Me” is gaining such momentum that it already has thousands of streams across multiple digital platforms, and it’s primed to become a platinum sensation as it continues to go viral.

The breakout single “Blue Cheese” is the perfect introduction to this young artist and his latest EP. With a very catchy hook and a radio-ready sound, this song about love and money and what it takes to hold down a relationship in the middle of a thriving music career is so upbeat and contagious that fans throughout Australia have already been putting it on repeat time and time again. Now, as it makes its way to the U.S., clubs and parties all across the country are set to be bouncing to the vibe throughout the summer.

“Like a lot of the songs on the EP, it shows off a modern day kind of Trap rap with some melodies thrown in,” Baba T said. “The whole project is kind of a heartbreak EP with a story that goes from start to finish across all five songs. ‘Tell Me’ is the first song and it kicks off the idea of how a relationship just fell. As the songs progress the story talks about different things in the relationship happening and it eventually falling. The last song is ‘Too Late,’ and it’s about looking back and seeing that now that you’re doing well in life it’s too late to go back and fix anything. And the whole thing is told in a kind of modern-day hip-hop scope with a sound a lot like Juice Wrld or Lil Baby.”

Baba T said his style is a far cry from the musical styles coming out of Sydney, and as such it’s causing quite a buzz all up-and-down the Australian East Coast. It’s a sound his city has rarely seen, and it’s a sound that will equally be enticing to American fans. He has a unique outlook on the world and creates vibes that transcend into different genres. And at the end of the day he makes music that connects with people and inspires them through life.

“I feel like my music will be able to help people get through things,” he said. “That’s what other people’s music has done for me. Coming from Australia I’ve always been told I couldn’t make it in music. But I believe deeply that you should do what you want to do. Chase your dreams. That’s what I want my legacy as a musician to be – inspiring people to chase their dreams. I want to help generations build a mindset that anything you want to do is possible. That’s the underlying theme through anything and everything that I’m making.”

YOUNG YARO TALKS NEW SINGLE "ILLITERATE" AND OTHER CURRENT PROJECTS

Find What “Lies” Beneath Deceit With Yung Yaro

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST BELOW!

YUNG YARO (16:42)

Download the MP3

Yung Yaro isn’t who you think she is. She defies any and all expectations. She rejects your labels and dissolves your preconceptions. “I like to read poetry,” said Yung Yaro. “That’s how I started writing music in the first place.” Yung Yaro has sharpened both her intellect and her songwriting prowess. “The last year has been horrible,” Yung Yaro admitted. “But before, I wasn’t as tuned in as I am now.”

Yung Yaro’s song “Illiterate” beseeches a person to view the plank in their own eye before pointing out the speck in another’s eye. “It comes from the way people perceive me,” said Yung Yaro. “They think that you’re behind where they are. They feel like you don't have a strong vocabulary.” She elaborated, “I know that you feel I’m this person. Realize that my eyes are open. I don't speak on everything that comes my way. But my tongue is very strong. When I speak, it comes on strong. I know y’all think that I’m clueless. But I see what you're doing.”

“Fair Enough” represents Yung Yaro’s acceptance of the often crippling unfairness and injustice of reality. “Either we’re inside a grave or your mama making visits. Suicide on my mind,” recites Yung Yaro. She delved deeper into the song’s subject matter, explaining, “After I came home from prison, it was an oversight of everything that was going on. Those 3 years became so many years of my life. It was a hard time.”

The music video for “Lies” shows Yung Yaro trekking through the graveyard of her own thoughts. She directed the video herself, using dark hues of blue and green to bring her anguish to life. “It's supposed to be based on living within my mind,” said Yung Yaro. “Everything has to be dark. It's supposed to be a fabricated story. The fabrication comes from you. You believe the storyline is a lie, but you’re actually living inside my mind.”

“Lies” offers listeners an intimate peek into how deceit causes genuine, enduring pain. “When I visited the graveyard and the bathroom,” said Yung Yaro. “Those are my places. Those are either places I’ve been trapped or fallen off of. That's where it starts. hTat's where I am the most dead and alive. At the same time, in my dreams. But I want to allow people to come up with their own perspective of it.”

For the foreseeable future, Yung Yaro has many upcoming projects. “We’re looking at a 90s EP. A different flavor, for me at least. I’m gonna try SWV and Boyz II Men. To reach back and bring those flavors back,” she said. Yung Yaro also plans on finishing an upcoming novel. “I’m working on rewriting my book, Betrayal Lives In All Corners (BLAC). It’s the first in a series and will be self-published. Beyond that, I’m looking at launching a clothing line.”

MUSIC RECORDING ARTIST 'YEVAE' TALKS NEW ALBUM RELEASE "UNCHAINED" AND MORE!

International sensation Yevae tackles tough topics with catchy electro-pop grooves

YEVAE (54:26)

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Electronic-tinged jazz and blues riffs with deeply meaningful lyrics and an attractive international sound have been making their way to the world from Yevae for years. The Ukrainian-American singer blends an eclectic mix of mesmerizing vocals, pulsing electronic rhythms and memorable melodies with a message of uplifting positivity. And her latest music is created with a purpose of empowering and helping everyone to realize their strengths, to gain confidence, and to find a sense of independence through music.

Yevae’s nine-song album “Unchained” is slated to drop later this year, but already four songs from the project have been released. And now a fifth song, “Free Me,” is coming to the world. With its release, this electropop artist shows how she’s using her music to start a conversation about mental health issues, suicide prevention, social justice and women’s rights. She has a new way of raising uncomfortable topics and delivering heavy messages with the help of modern dance music. Music lovers and electronic dance fans will definitely find her sound and style attractive and want to dive more deeply into her records.

“I have a deep and theatrical sound with an electronic mix of music and beats that fuses in the jazz and blues techniques of my voice,” Yevae said. “I really love jazz and blues, but I also really love electronic music and have wanted to mix those things together for years. Also, all of the lyrics I write actually have meaning. I get so tired of songs on the radio today that make the English language sound very poor. That’s influencing the masses in negative ways. I want to elevate that and put some meaning behind the words I’m choosing to use. With ‘Free Me’ I’m talking about a girl who understands she has been in a dysfunctional relationship for quite a while, and when she realizes how much the relationship has drained her – physically and mentally – she decides it’s time to get away from it. I want it to be a song that serves as a message to other people who might be going through something like that. I want all of my music to be about empowering people. No matter what you’re going through at the moment, there’s always a light at the end of the path. Keep pushing. It’s OK to feel whatever you’re feeling right now, but have hope.”

Born and raised in the Ukraine, Yevae moved to the U.S. as a young adult. She diligently built a career in the tech industry, but when her father passed away in 2019 she decided to follow her heart and pursue her passion for music. Over the past two years she’s developed her signature style while building an international audience of fans that are eager for more and more music from her. In coming months she plans to release another song from her upcoming album called “Breathe,” which continues the conversation of mental health.

!

For Troy Remedy, to live is to endure. Life makes for an uphill climb. One must claw and scrape to gain even a morsel of advantage. When in need of solace, Troy Remedy turns to music. “Music has always been an element to some of the things that have happened around me,” said Troy Remedy. “When you're in a bad spot, in a bind, mentally stuck or trying to find your way through the maze. music has always been there.”

Troy’s fresh lyrical delivery and organic production hearkens back to the days of old but with a bold new twist. His songs burrow down into the heart, revealing concealed pain and sorrow. “My professors taught me the method,” said Troy. “I took the lessons that they taught me and I had to show my own version of it. And in my own style. I take great pride in the production side of things.”

Troy brings listeners his own lesson in the form of the rich, soulful new track “Next To You.” The song sees Troy Remedy collaborating with singer (and fellow Texan) Molly May Rockwell. “I created the harmonies and wrote all the lyrics,” Troy explained. “I tried to find a distinctive voice that fits this type of song.” “Next To You” sees Troy Remedy reminiscing on romance and regret. “It’s about the kind of enjoyment that you have when you meet somebody,” said Troy. “But also the missed opportunities that come with that. The realization that you did have something good but you let it slip away.”

Regarding Molly May Rockwell’s sultry vocal harmonies on “Next To You,” Troy said, “she did exceptionally well!” The music video for “Next To You” features Troy and Molly performing in what appears to be a local jazz lounge. “[Molly] added some grace and elegance with her performance,” Troy recollected. “Everybody from the Randy McGill band to acclaimed saxophonist Andrew Landell did a spectacular job!”

Fans of Troy Remedy’s “Next To You” have time to brush up on his other singles while he records new material. His emotive, moving song “Gratitude” features guest vocals from hiphop legend Bizzy Bone. “I felt like all the stars aligned with that song,” Troy Remedy remembered. “Everything from the beat to the video. I just felt like everything came into place perfectly.” Troy recalled feeling the pressures of being an independent artist reaching out to an established veteran. “That’s a serious conversation you have with yourself. You’ve got to ask, ‘Are you capable of doing this? I personally feel we did a great job with the finished product and were able to meet the challenge.”

Anyone who enjoys “Next To You” won’t have to wait long. Troy Remedy revealed that he has 2 upcoming singles in the works. “Temperatures Rising” and “Lost The Flame” that will both be released later this year. Troy also announced that he is currently booking live shows. He will perform at Texas’ independent music festival, Loudfest, in December.

HIP HOP RECORDING ARTIST 'DAZ PAYNE' STOPS BY AND TALKS ABOUT HIS NEW SINGLE "RICH BOY TRAP" AND MORE!

Daz Payne blends underground rap vibes with R&B approach on upbeat new hit ‘Rich Boy Trap’

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST BELOW!

DAZ PAYNE (31:16)

Download the MP3

LOS ANGELES, CA – Daz Payne is a veteran artist who is introducing a new spin of sound and style that music lovers around the world have been familiar with for years. His mix of Trap, traditional rap and a more underground hip-hop vibe contrasts in intriguing ways against a smooth R&B approach, and the end result is a truly original take on music. If you’re a fan of artists such as The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, or Anderson Paak, you’ll love what Daz Payne is bringing to the table.

His latest single “Rich Boy Trap” is a perfect example of this signature style. Described as a vibe that feels a bit like the popular Netflix series “Black Mirror” mentality, the song explores what it takes to stay centered when there are a lot of distractions going on in life.

“It’s a response to my life now,” Payne said. “I have a new daughter who is 11 months old and doesn’t always sleep through the night. I wrote this song late at night when I was frustrated and had sleep deprivation. I channeled that energy into this song. It’s pretty upbeat with a good dance tempo, and the lyrics blend pretty well. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to go to the club and just put your head in a drink and have some fun.”

The title of the song comes from an idea that Payne has been exploring for the past couple of years. Compared to where he used to be in his life, he’s now doing well financially with a strong family life and stability. He’s an artist who has transitioned out of the streets and now has a more legitimate situation. He’s making money as an entrepreneur which is where the Rich Boy name comes in. But with more money comes more problems … it’s a trap, so to speak. The name of the song, therefore, serves as a warning to himself and others not to let ego run away out of control.

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Payne initially set his sights on playing in the NFL. He played cornerback for Army at West Point until a devastating knee injury and the sudden death of his father saw him transfer to the University of Houston and ultimately ended his football career. The experience unlocked his new life mission: to become the world’s biggest superstar.

“I always felt I had a special talent for making music,” he said. “God gave me a gift that I wasn’t using at all. My father’s passing was like a wake-up call. I couldn’t waste another moment.”
