I caught up with Congressman Gregg Harper this evening and got his thoughts on the current travesty called "ObamaCare." Harper talked about the disastrous roll out of the ACA, and what the Republicans are trying to do in order to save the American people from what is surely a train wreck in the making. THE LOVES OF MY LIFE

Life is short and we should never take our days on this earth for granted. The world is full of hateful, miserable souls, so when you're blessed with angels like my two girls, don't take it for granted.

DUCKY DYNASTY IN THE HOUSE

Duck Dynasty is one of the hottest shows on TV. Why? One big reason is because the show isn't littered with cursing, or degrading type material. These guys don't care what the liberal elitist think. They pray on TV, and are not ashamed to express their faith in God. I support these guys 100 percent. The show sure beats all of the scum trash that's on TV nowadays. I ran into Godwin of Duck Dynasty, not too long ago. Such a nice guy.

MEETING UP WITH WWE WRESTLER TED DIBIASE JR

One of many cool things about working for Bass Pro Shops is getting to run into so many various celebrities. Our stores are frequented by celebrities all of the time. The guys from Duck Dynasty are in Pearl Bass Pro quite a bit, as West Monroe isn't too far away from here. Last weekend I ran into WWE Wrestler Ted Dibiase Jr. Very nice guy.

SPENDING TIME WITH THE BRET MICHAELS BAND

My buddy Pete Evick never fails. Pete plays lead guitar in the Bret Michaels Band, and each time they come to Mississippi, he puts me and my Shannon on the guest list. The band played in Hattiesburg, MS last weekend, so Shannon and I jumped in the car and made the hour and a half trip. What a great time! Great show, and great times hanging with the band in the tour bus after the show. Thanks again Pete. See you next time you guys are in town!
