I spoke with Rock/Metal legend Lita Ford this evening and got her thoughts on her new record "Living Like A Runaway." This is Lita's first record since 2003. I sat down with Congressman Gregg Harper this morning and got his thoughts on the upcoming Presidential election. He talked about the impacts that country would face if President Obama is re-elected. He also talked about what he believes the impact would be in Gov Romney were to be elected. THE LEGENDS SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS ON THE PASSING OF EMANUEL STEWARD

After hearing about the passing of boxing's beloved Emanuel Steward, I wanted to remember him by getting the thoughts of today's legends. I have spoken with Manny many times over the years. When I was in Memphis a few years back, I had the honor of spending some time with him. We were at "The New Daisy Theater" for an ESPN card and Manny was in the house. My interviews with him over the years were some of my favorite because he was so gracious with his time, and made me feel right at home.

I'm a big NRA supporter, and a proud gun owner. I got to meet the President of the NRA - Wayne LaPierre last month in Jackson, MS. These are my two fire arms, a .38 Special (Taurus) and a P22 Walther Semi Automatic. Our 2nd Ammendment rights could be in jeopardy if Obama is re-elected. It's amazing to me how ignorant some people are. Remember the movie theater mass shooting that took place in Colorado? If that were to happen in Mississippi, where I live, that clown would have had at least 6 or 7 people shooting back at his ass. Just my thoughts.....

I ran into country music star/ former American Idol finalist Skylar Laine today at Bass Pro Shop in Pearl, MS. All of us in Mississippi are really proud of her!

HOTEL CALIFORNIA MADE MY NIGHT

Me and my beautiful God Daughter went to the Mississippi State Fair the other day. While she and my little one were riding rides, I decided to walk up to the Budweiser Pavilion and check out who was playing that night. To my pleasant surpise, as soon as I walked in the intro started. It was Don Felder of The Eagles. The very first song he played was "Hotel California" an all time favorite of mine. Felder played one Eagles hit after the other. It was a great way to spend the evening. The kids had a blast, and so did I :-)

ROMNEY CRUSHES OBAMA IN FIRST DEBATE

Gov Romney in front of millions of viewers completely destroyed President Obama in tonight's first debate. It's funny what happens when you remove a bias liberal media, and a teleprompter from someone. Romney was prepared, sharp, astute, and dialed in. Obama was a deer in headlights. Finally the country saw an unprotected Obama get schooled by the man who can bring our country back.

MY CONVERSATION WITH NASA's JONATHAN GRINBLAT

NASA Avionics Systems Engineer Jonathan Grinblat once again joined the 8CN Podcast and discussed the current health of the Mars rover “Curiosity.” Grinblat tells 8CN that the rover is performing much better than they ever expected. Grinblat talks about the current temperature on the surface of Mars, which is surprisingly warmer than we thought. He says that there a lot of unknowns on Mars that can be expected, and that's why we are there, to get a better understanding of things. We also talked about future Mars missions, and NASA's plans to do a return mission that will bring Martian soil back to Earth. Grinblat says that pending funding, a manned mission to Mars is possible within 30 years. Also discussed was the new finding by Curiosity such as an ancient dried up river bed. He also talked about NASA's plans to release video of the rover's travels, and a video of an eclipse that the rover took. Grinblat also talks about the possibility of life either not existing or existing on Mars today. He says that a billion years ago, Mars had a very similar environment to Earth. He's a little more confident that if life does exist on Mars today, it's more likely that it exists beneath the surface. A mission is being talked about that will land a rover on the surface to dig down deep and have a look around. We also discussed proposals to explore Europa by 2018/2020. AMERICAN HERO US SILVER STAR RECIPIENT TODD ANGEL TELLS HIS STORY

This is by far the most meaningful Podcast interview that I have ever done. I met Todd Angell in Connecticut, at my brothers house while I was up visiting my family. Angell received the nations 3rd highest honor, the Silver Star for his heroic works in Afghanistan. He literally saved the lives of Marines, children, and Afghans. Angell spoke with me about his story. A true Hero.

NASA's JONATHAN GRINBLAT RETURNING TO 8CN PODCAST WEDNESDAY

Jonathan Grinblat built the computer that's currently sitting on the surface of Mars. The Mars rover Curiosity touched down on the red planet back in August, and has been busy at work exploring on the planet's surface. Grinblat and I spoke just a few days after Curiosity landed. Now's he will be coming back to 8CN to give us an update on the rover's findings, and to discuss the current health of the rover. Don't miss it!
