Wrapping up a really good week. We are getting close to launching the new 8CountNews.com! We aren't going anywhere, we'll still have the same URL. The site is looking really good, I can't wait to go live with it.
We have a huge Presidential election coming up in November. I supported President Obama when he ran the first time, however, he will not get my vote this time. His healthcare plan scares the crap out of me. It will crush small business owners all across the land. How do we pay for this plan? I give Obama an A for dealing with our enemies, and capturing and killing terrorists. I give him an F for domestic problems. Honestly? If I were an African American, no way in hell would I vote for this guy again. Exactly what has Obama done to address the black issues in this country? Yep, nothing.
When the Republican primaries were in full swing, I threw my support behind Rick Santorum. He came up short, and Romney eventually won the nomination. I will now support Mitt Romney for President. This country needs a businessman at the helm in order to get our economy back on the right track.
In boxing, I spoke with Bob Arum yesterday. He gave me a nice update on his stable. Arum told me that he is leaving for the Philippines in the first week of August to meet with Manny Pacquiao. Arum says that he will need to have an opponent named by August 10th. Check out that Podcast HERE
My awesome God daughter Bebe is back home from Vegas. She did so good competing for Miss Vietnam. I'm so proud of her. That's a quick update folks. Have a great weekend! Brad C
