FULL METAL JACKET STAR KEVYN MAJOR HOWARD JOINS THE 8CN PODCAST

I sat down with Actor Kevyn Major Howard who's most notably known for his role as "Rafter Man" in the 1987 American classic movie ''Full Metal Jacket'' amongst several others. Howard has worked with legends such as Frank Sinatra, Charles Bronson, and Clint Eastwood just to name a few.

He's currently one of Hollywood's top Head Shot Photographer's and heads up a truly enspiring program called "Fueled By The Fallen", a program that remembers fallen American heroes using white Camaro's all custom painted memorializing events such as 911 and fallen soldiers. These custom painted Camaro's can be booked for events around the country.

BRENDAN COONEY GRADUATES MARINE CORP BOOT CAMP AND BECOMES A MARINE

I spent the last few days in Parris Island, SC witnessing something that I will never forget. My nephew, Private Brendan Cooney (Unites States Marine) graduated boot camp and earned his title "Marine" Here are a few photos of our new Marine.

BRENDAN CALLS HOME

We heard from our new Marine this morning. Brendan called and told the family that he is doing great just a little sore from the Crucble. I will be pulling out of Jackson,MS on Tuesday morning and heading to Parris Island, SC for Brendan's graduation ceremony. I can't ever describe how proud all of us are of Brendan. See you soon B.

BRENDAN COONEY COMPLETES THE CRUCIBLE AND BECOMES A MARINE

My Nephew, Brendan Cooney crossed the finish line this morning and became a United States Marine. Brendan has been on Parris Island, SC for the past 3 months training to become a Marine, and after 3 months, and a 58 mile Crucible, this morning he transitioned from recruit to Marine.

I'm so proud of him. I leave for Parris Island, SC on Tuesday. I can't wait to see him on Thursday at family day, and then again on graduation day which is Friday, Dec 16th.
