Did you ever meet someone and as they are talking to you that feeling comes over you that says "This guy is full of crap!"? Politicians for example make you feel like you need to take a shower after your done talking to them.

I have been involved in politics since I was 18 years (now 35) old and I can count on one hand the amount politicians who are "real people", someone who you talk to and feel like he or she is just another mom or dad or a neighbor. This is why people shut off what is going on in the world and in their state. No one cares because no politician is real. There is always some front that they put up to get you to believe that they are something that they are not. When I watch the debates on TV I wish they would show the side of the stage so that we could see Toto pull the wizards curtain and see who is inside.

I am someone who considers myself as right as you can get, and Cooney can attest to this, and I have had it with both sides. Democrats and Republicans don't care about you, they care about themselves and getting re-elected, and that's the problem. No one holds them accountable for what they do and how they vote.

The question is, do you really know who you are voting for? What does he or she stand for? What is his or her background? No one asks these questions, they just watch their local TV the week before the election and pull a lever.

If anything is going to change in this country then people better wake up and not fall asleep at the switch!!

Wake up people! It's time to take the gloves off and get real about whats going on!!!

8CN KICKIN IT WITH THE BRET MICHAELS BAND IN BILOXI, MS

8CN got the royal treatment from the Bret Michaels Band this Memorial Day weekend. My buddy Pete Evick had me on the guest list and also took care of the nice Hard Rock Hotel room. Bret Michaels was in town and when that happens, you can bet your bottom dollar that the house will be sold out. The Hard Rock in Biloxi, MS was jammed packed, and the band put forth the best performance that I have ever seen. I want to send the band a HUGE thank you for the passes, the room, and the time spent after the show.

COONEY'S THOUGHTS

It's been a great few months for 8CountNews.com - We continue to bring YOU the fans the biggest names in boxing. Here it straight from the fighters!

I will be heading to Florida in Late June for some much needed vacation. While there, I am sure that I will find time to talk boxing with someone.

There's been a lot of trying times over the past few months as well. Mississippi was hit by several large tornadoes that have killed several people. 8CN with the help of our good friend Roy Jones Jr has raised money for the victims.

The Mississippi River flood was another issue. The city of Vicksburg remains under water in many areas. Last week Joplin, Missouri was devastated by an EF-5 tornado, and yesterday parts of Oklahoma City were wiped off the map as well. Let's keep these people in our thoughts.

On a much less serious note, it's so nice to see how I have impacted my critics. It's funny, it's really funny, no it's AMAZINGLY funny to see how one or two people have sold their farm out. To go from educated and flat out good reads to photo-shop characters that talk about Spiderman and Justin Beiber is quite SHOCKING! :-)

Speaking of photoshop, my attorney is cocked and ready just in case any photoshopped photo's come remotely close to looking like yours truly. HOLLA

LEBEDEV KO'S JONES IN 10TH

If it's not Roy's final fight, it should be. The legendary Roy Jones Jr fought bravely for 10 rounds but didn't have the answers that he once had. Denis Lebedev, a younger and stronger fighter pressed the action and ultimately was able to finish Jones off.

A younger Roy Jones would have wiped the map clean of Lebedev, but he's not a young Roy Jones anymore. Congratulations to Lebedev, and a big THANK YOU for a brilliant career to Roy Jones Jr

BLOWHARD CYBER BULLY NO SHOW IN WORCESTER

Just as expected the horrific looking mental case blowhard cyber bully was a no show in Worcester last night. This was only too predictable as most keyboard warriors such as this blowhard are cowards. 8CN was all over the house last night looking for the Toys R Us non movie making big mouth. He certainly wasn't at the media table, nor was he anywhere to be found in the crowd. Funny huh? a fight like this, and he is supposed to be friends with the main event, and only 30 minutes from the venue and he's a no show LOL. This PUSSY cat is and always will be a keyboard toughguy with no balls.

RIP RANDY "MACHO MAN" SAVAGE

Sad news today out of the wrestling world. Wrestling legend Randy "Macho Man" Savage died of an apparent heart attack while at the wheel of his 2009 Jeep Wrangler. TMZ is reporting that Savage lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree head on. RIP Randy "Macho Man" Savage

DEPRESSION AND THE REAL MENTAL CASES

As someone who has had my bouts with depression over the years, I can certainly relate to those who suffer from it. Many people who suffer from clinical depression often suffer for many years, and in some sad cases they end up taking their own lives. Depression is not bias toward any gender or race. It can strike anyone, and sometimes with the extreme cases people take their own lives.

Recently I read online where a gay teen who suffered from depression had killed himself. The poor kid was bullied both in person and online. Cyber bullying is even worse than a school yard bully. Cyber bullying are folks too cowardly to say and act the same way in person as they do behind a keyboard.

The real mental cases are those who spend countless hours on their computers harrassing folks from afar.

8CN will be in the house in Worcester, Mass for the Jose Antonio Rivera's comeback fight. 8CN's Peter Czymbor will bring his NEsportsTV to town and will be broadcasting the show.

Who knows, maybe we'll run into our favorite disgusting looking mental case while we are there. Who is that you may ask? It's that horrid looking freak show that gets off spending 90 percent of his life on me, and the other 10 percent making movies with Toys R Us toys.

It's the guy that can't wait to get home from his security job at the jail so he can satisfy his self insecurities.

8CN very much looks forward to finally getting to meet the pig behind the keyboard who so cowardly takes his shots from afar. HOLLA!

COONEY'S THOUGHTS

Things have been touch and go here in Mississippi. As many of you know, we have had some catastrophic tornadoes that have killed many people down here, and in Alabama. My good friend Roy Jones Jr shows once again why he's such a class act. Roy and I have hooked up and started a tornado releif fund. Donations have been pouring in, and in a few more weeks, I will hand deliver this money to the folks in need.

Mississippi is now under the gun for a historical flood. The Mississippi river is about to flood from Memphis, TN all the way to the Gulf Coast. I am keeping my eye on this, and will probably be calling for assistance with another fundraise for this. Many people will lose their homes.

8CountNews is doing GREAT! Our traffic numbers are booming. Unlike another site, 8CN doesn't have to sell out and publish fake articles written by fake people. We keep it boxing and mixed martial arts.

Look for BIG things from 8CN in the near future. Our very own Lou Pizarro will be ringside for the Pacquiao Vs. Mosley fight, so look for his reporting on that. Be sure to check out Lou's hit TV show, "Operation Repo" on TRU TV on Wednesday nights.
