BIG CONGRATS TO MY NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!! The Saints beat a very tough Vikings team to advance to the superbowl in Miami, Florida. Former Saints RB Deuce McAllister is a friend of mine, so this one was personal for me. I'm very happy that my team will get a shot at winning their first ever superbowl! Congrats once again to the New Orleans Saints!!!

UPCOMING BOXING SCHEDULE

It's been a great week. What a difference a week can make. Happiness is a great thing. I will be heading to Tunica, MS (Memphis, TN)area Jan, 30th to cover Prize Fight's boxing card. I will be heading to Los Angeles with the 8CN crew to cover Manny Pacquiao's training camp in late February. I will be in Dallas, Texas on March 13th to cover Manny Pacquiao "vs" Joshua Clottey.

After a short break from the boxing interviews, I am BACK! I took a little break to wind down and to focus on other life issues. Now that things are wonderful and back to normal, I am back in the swing of things. ALLAN GREEN PODCAST IS UP!

Green will be replacing Jermain Taylor, who pulled out of the tournament due to a brutal knockout, and will more than likely retire officially in the near future. Thoughts

Well, it's been a rather stressful month, yet happier days are upon me. Firstly, I want to send big prayers out to the beautiful people of Haiti. The Haitians have been dealing with a horrible earthquake that killed thousands of people, and injured more. World champ Andre Berto is from Haiti, so let us all keep the Berto family in our prayers as well.


8CountNews is kicking ass and, taking names. The site just brought on a few new writers, and we are excited to have them. Look for big things in the near future from 8CN!

On a personal note. I have been blessed to have met a great lady. It's so comforting to have someone in my life that shares my beliefs, and understands me. I'm sure you guys will meet her if you are at the same fights that I attend.

Hello folks... just a few notes to update you guys on what I got coming up. On Wednesda, I'll fly up to New York/Connecticut to visit my family. It will be nice to see my brother and nephews, sister in law, and many others. On Friday, I will be at "Iceman" John Scully's gym visiting with him and is stable. On Friday night I will swing into Mahopac, New York to visit old friends. On Saturday, me and the 8CountNews team, Ed Anderson and Peter Czymbor will hook up in Danbury, CT for a few beers at a great Irish pub. It's going to be a fun trip! I will be back on the 11th, so I will update the blog when I return.
