HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF MY READERS!

Happy Easter everybody! Today was a great day. I picked up my Aunt and Uncle from Los Angeles at the airport today. Tomorrow all of my family will attend the early morning service at Church, then off for a family get together Easter afternoon. It's nice to take a break from the boxing world and the job world for awhile and spend some quality time with family. I encourage all of you to spend as much quality time with your loved ones as possible.

8CountNews will be back in full swing on Monday, look for us to get back into some interviews with the biggest names in boxing. Ed and I were in Los Angeles for a week, and you saw the Pacquiao coverage. Both of us came back from vacation with a pile of work to do, but were both back in the groove. We will be landing some big interviews soon. Thanks for all of your support, 8CountNews has really taken off these past few month and we owe that to you, the readers.

I would like to take a moment and wish everybody a Happy Good Friday. To those of my readers who are not Christians, I wish all of you health and happiness. This is the day we remember the day Christ was crucified on the cross. I for one have not always been a Christian, but thank God I have been saved and have given my life to Christ. I have sinned many times in my life, as most of us have. I have asked Christ to forgive me of my sins, and as the Bible teaches us the only way to heaven is through Christ.

On a personal note - While in Los Angeles I was able to spend some quality time with my Aunt and Uncle. On Sunday I was invited to attend church service at my uncle's church. The Pastor (Pastor Manny's) sermon was out of the Book of Romans. He spoke about sin, and what we all need to do in order to live an eternal life with Jesus in Heaven. He spoke about forgiveness, and how we should forgive those who have caused harm upon us and or others. Sometimes it's not so easy to turn the other cheek when you are struck. But, do your best to do so because to lower yourself in response does nothing but compound the problem. Pray for those who hold anger and hate within themselves so that they too can move forward with a lighter heart and a healthier spirit.
