14 YR OLD BRIAN NICHOLS GRABS NATIONAL TITLE

Nichols - 07 112 lb Nat'l Silver Gloves Champ! (3-6-07)

Brian Nichols, 14, recently won the 2007 National Silver Gloves in the 112 # division. He has been selected to be part of Team USA in an International Competition to be held May 7-13, 2007 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This win also gives Brian a berth at the 2007 National Junior Olympics. In the past year Brian has also won the 2006 World Ringside Championships and the 2006 National Junior Golden Gloves.

Brian is a member of the Pearl Boxing Club in Pearl, MS. He has been boxing for seven years and has competed in over 220 boxing matches. This was his 5th year to advance to the National Silver Gloves.

Brian’s next competition will be at the Mississippi Golden Gloves Tournament to be held in Pearl, MS on March 17, 2007.
