I mentioned a few weeks ago that 2009 would be the year where I begin my journey to become a more selfless person. 2008 had it's ups and downs, and with the downs I have learned a lot about who I am as a person, and I have learned how other people can be. I have learned that good people, really good people can stray off track and become less than what they really want to be. It has been layed on my heart to start reaching out to those who have not been dealt a very good hand of cards. I began thinking of ways that I could do something, something that would really make a difference in peoples lives. I believe that we as American's take for granted many things. One of them is a very simple thing, clean water. In Africa thousands, and thousands of children die because of the lack of clean drinking water. I took my idea to my business partner Ed Anderson, and then contacted a wonderful man named Peter with "The Water Project" - 8CountNews.com will join forces with "The Water Project" to build drinking water wells in Western Kenya, Africa. This project is VERY close to launching, and I will be giving more details as we get closer to launching.
