JOEL CASAMAYOR KILLS THE KAT By Brad Cooney

Lightweight kingpin Joel Casamayor answered one question Saturday night, he's not washed up, and he's still very dangerous. Australia's Michael Katsidis entered the ring wearing his gladiators helmet, and left the ring swollen, cut, beaten, and without the title that he has been longing for. Casamayor knocked Katsidis down twice early on in the 1st round but Katsidis had his moments in the fight as well, knocking Casamayor completely out of the ring at the end of round 6. The night ended when Casamayor dropped Katsidis forcing the referee to call a halt to the action in the 10th round. What's next for Casamayor? Hopefully a showdown with lightweight champ, Nate Campbell.
